MINDFUL CHANGE FROM THE INSIDE OUT:

EACH OF US IS NEEDED.

It is not your responsibility to finish the work [of building a world in which all can thrive], but you are not free to desist from it either.

~ Pirkei Avot

Self-care and healing and attention to the body and the spiritual dimension—all of this is now a part of radical social justice struggles. That wasn’t the case before. And I think that now we’re thinking deeply about the connection between interior life and what happens in the social world. Even those who are fighting against state violence often incorporate impulses that are based on state violence in their relations with other people.

~ Angela Davis

The quality of your action depends on the quality of your being.

~ Thich Nhat Hanh

How do we learn to tend to our moment-to-moment experiences with presence, compassion, wisdom, and authenticity?

What supports us in remembering that we can use it all - all of who we are, all of our life experiences - to wholeheartedly show up for ourselves and others?

What will be the ripple effects of tending, remembering, and using it all?

I’m AliSON Cohen, and these are the questions that

keep me up at night.

I’m excited to explore them with you.
